Women’s Safety Task Group

Bristol Women’s Commission’s Women’s Safety Task Group was set up to bring together partners to identify and address issues impacting women’s safety.

Chaired by Claire Bloor, Chief Executive of SARSAS (formerly Bristol Rape Crisis), the group works on campaigns such as 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, responds to consultations and lobbies local and national government for changes to improve women’s safety in Bristol.

Current members include: St Mungo’s, Identification and Referral to Improve Safety (IRISi), UWE Bristol, University of Bristol, Bristol Women’s Voice, BCC, Bristol Drugs Project, Avon and Somerset Police, Probation Services and Working Links.
